This hospitality facility is one of the most famous places of stay worth spending a night before or after the end of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Trekkers Hostel is strategically located, offering splendid views of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges and Nyamwamba River.
Rwenzori Trekkers Hostel is perched at elevation of 1450m and it offers variety of accommodation options right from dormitories, double, single to camping.
The hostel is a perfect starting point if you plan on tackling this side of the Rwenzori.
Rooms, all with shared bathrooms, are in restored miners’ housing and are slightly run-down with peeling linoleum floors, but they’re fine for the price.
The restaurant has a great trekking menu comprising T-bone steaks, pasta and vegetarian options. The hostel does some excellent work in the community, and also offers village walks and cultural performances.
