When choosing accommodation facility to stay, quality matters-not any Lodge, Hostel, Hotel or Camp should be booked. Several factors must be put into consideration before you choose the best place for your overnight stay. The rates, quality, your budget, location are among the significant factors you should take into consideration.
Before and after hiking Rwenzori Mountains, the accommodation at the base offer a perfect option for visitor overnight stay before ascending and after they descended from the summits. Here are some of the comfortable places of stay to consider while on Uganda safari in the Rwenzori Mountains National Park.
There is a series of huts on the ‘Circuit’ route. In 1996 the huts of Nyabitaba, John Matte, Guy Yeoman and Elena where in fair to good condition, the hut at Kitandara lake was in poor condition, the hut at Bujuku resembled nothing more than an iron sheet shelter which was very dirty and inadequate. Camping on the mountain would be preferable, however the terrain resembles a floating bog.
